Get ready to skate!

The 2022/2023 Swansea Figure Skating season is getting ready to make a return after a 2-year hibernation!

Sharpen those skates and check back at SFSA.ca in the next week or so for the opening of our registration.

Lessons will be offered to all levels from age 4 and up. The cost is expected to be around $80 per person; however, this may depend on if the cost of running the program has changed. Payments must be made by email transfer.

In the past, registration has filled up quickly, and you may send in your registration form to be waitlisted. Historically, there has been movement, and waitlisted people may be offered spots. If you are waitlisted, please do not forward payment.

There will be approximately 12 skating sessions with classes beginning on Sunday, December 4th (weather permitting). There will be no classes on Sunday, December 25th, and Sunday, January 1st. Unfortunately, no refunds or credits will be granted for canceled or missed classes. You will be notified of cancellations on this website and by email. Only one email address will be notified per skater, so please share the information with the others as needed.

All skaters (children and adults) require a helmet and skates (either hockey or figure skating skates).

See you on the ice!

February 24th is the last day of classes for the season

Thank you for a great season! We are able to run our program year after year due to our amazing community that work together to make it possible.
Thank you to the skaters and their families that continue to skate with SFSA.
Thank you to the on ice volunteers Adrian and Anjali who give up their time to help out with our budding skaters.
Thank you to our instructors Claudia and Shari who brave various weather conditions and make the program possible.

A friendly reminder that we are still seeking a new volunteer administrator for next year. The bulk of the work is in November, and the person should be comfortable with excel spreadsheets. Please email if you are interested.
